    I liked the Mid century decor, and the large back area. The staff was nice and they had vegan fish tacos which were fantastic. Hard to find those at a restaurant.

    Shady Park is a great venue from top to bottom...EXCEPT - their bathroom situation. They don’t even have an Employee or Artist bathroom. Total amount of toilets for women in the entire place? 3. Total amount for men? 4, including 2 urinals. But wait, why don’t you just go next door and come back you ask? Because they don’t allow re-entry during shows. You would think there has to be some health regulation about the ratio of bathrooms to occupancy, but if I could suggest anything, it would be to permanently buy or rent portapoties to put in the alley way in the back for other use. People drink tons of fluids, and the fact that you get trapped in a bathroom line because you don’t want to leave the venue (no re-entry allowed) but have to go is unfortunate for such a prosperous business. This is so doable!

    The food is great. And the concerts are even better. Great venue to get up close and personal

    I love this place on a lovely afternoon and they have fun dance parties at night (but often a $15-$25 cover). Drinks are a little on the pricey side as well. BBQ pizza is very tasty.

    I can't speak for how good the restaurant or bar is, but this place as a concert venue is fantastic! It's intimate, the acoustic setup is great, and all the trees around the stage cool it down nicely. The only qualm I have is that each show I've been to has had some sort of technical problem with the sound equipment.
